Questions about amateur teen modeling? I was wondering if 130 pounds is too much weight for a fifteen year old that wants to model. I am 5'4" (I know I'm short for modeling but it's just amateur stuff, not really fashion) and I have nice muscle tone and think I look good at my weight. I'm afraid a modeling agency would make me lose like 10 - 15 pounds, but I'm not willing to do that because then I would lose my large b-cups and my booty... |
you're too big for most modeling. even if it's muscle, it's TOO MUCH muscle!
I'm 5'6" and 124 pounds, and I was told to lose 10 pounds. |
What is a good modeling agency for teens?(far amateur models)? I have been looking around for a good modeling agency and cant find help!! |
| Every agency takes amateur models - most models who start have no experience. If you are age 14 or older, any of these are legit models.com/agencies/top/ |
For what reason they decide to do modeling for teen photography sites? I'm not talking about worthless pornstars or professional supermodels or porn amateurs. I'm talking about beautiful models of teen photography sites such as Met-Art, Femjoy, Hegre-Art and Domai. These girls are really beautiful (photoshopping is not the case) and look innocent. So is there any horrible fact behind this type of modeling? For what reason these girls decide to do modeling for these sites?
- JUST for Money? How much?
- Because they really want? (as site owners claim)
- They are forced to do that for any reason? |
Why should there be any "horrible fact" behind them modelling??
A lot of these models do it because they enjoy it and don't have any hang ups about nudity and showing their bodies - the money obviously helps but the pay is not great. |
How easy is it to become a part-time teen model? I'm looking for ways to make some extra money, as my one full time job isn't cutting it, and I see a lot of guys and teens on TV in commercials (Joe Fresh, Sears, etc) and in magazines that sparked my interest.
I am female, weigh about 115 pounds at 5'7, and I am 16 years old (living in the lower mainland of BC). I would NOT be looking to make a career out of modeling - only to make money for maybe a couple of years.
Could someone please link me to websites that would give me information on amateur modeling in the Vancouver area?
Any tips or ideas on how to get my foot in the door would also be appreciated. ;) Thank you. |

Teen Style Wise Photography? Okay, well I do photography as an amateur and I do peaceful.Friendly,etc. styles.
Im around the teen years and i was wondering....do you guys have any ideas?
FYI: I'm my only model. I can't get my friends in it right now, sooo yeah. |
| photography is about expressing yourself, and who you are, not what people tell you to take pictures of. Find what you think is peaceful ect. Dont ask for other peoples help for a photography class |
Teen girls, could I be a model? Also, how do I look? Some people say I'm too "buff" to be a model (I'm an amateur competitive bodybuilder).
Thoughts?

Amateur Photographer seeking help in Camera Options? I'm just a teen seeking help and reviews about cameras and which ones i should get. Something under $500 would be good but still amazing quality.
I picked out a few cameras already and i just want some "constructive criticism" or reviews about them and if they're good to start with. If they are what you prefer, would you recommend another camera model, please?
Your answer is so much appreciated, thanks!
D3000 from Nikon:

PowerShot G11 from Canon
www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro…
PowerShot G10 from Canon
www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro… |
If you look at the size of the sensors on the three cameras, you will see that the Nikon D3000 has a sensor that is over 15 times larger than the two P&S cameras. Add to that, the Nikon can use all the current AF-S lenses made by Nikon ... 35 different lenses last count and more coming.
The P&S Canon's have a fixed lens, the lens you will have to use until you either buy another P&S camera or take the plunge and buy a fully adjustable Camera like the D3000
As you can see on this link, the D3000 out performs the G-10 and G-11 in the four most important aspects of digital cameras
Sensor performance
Colour depth
Dynamic range
Low-light ISO performance
www.dxomark.com/index.php/eng/Ima…
If you look closely you will also see that the camera with the most pixels on the sensor (G-10) has the lowest performance.
If continuous shooting is important, the D3000 is faster. |
Could I become a model? As shallow and cliché as it sounds, it's my dream to be featured in vogue.
I flick through the pages and can name all the models in the campaigns and I'm always so inspired into thinking "I wish I look like this"
I'm just being honest, not boastful when I say this, but I'm quite often told I take very good pictures and I have a perfect "doll" face because everything's in perfect proportion. I have a nice bone structure and very clear skin and porcelain complexion.
I was scouted not long ago by the "teen queen" people and I entered for a laugh, not expecting to get very far. However, I made it into to final 80 and got called for a photoshoot. My mum pulled me up, and refused to let me go. She has a lot of experience with the industry and does not want me involved in it. Otherwise, I'd like to think (given the chance) I could have got through to the finals.
I'm also often advised to try modelling, especially if I'm interested in fashion. I've modelled for a few amateur photographers/friends but nothing serious and nothing really to be proud of. I feel when people say things like the above, they're just being very flattering and not really genuine.
But, the point of this post was that I wanted to ask for opinions on this, based on the details below. I'm not really comfortable posting pictures openly, but feel free to message me, then maybe I'll email you some. :)
Details:
Age: 15
Height: 5'8" (172cm)
Weight: 138lb / 9st 9lb / 63kg
Bust: 34"
Cup Size: B
Waist: 27.5 - 28"
Hips: 34"
Women Shoe: 5.5 UK
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Gold around the iris, grey towards the outside. You have to see them to understand ;)
Skin: Very clear and pale (as in Wednesday Adams paper white pale)
I'm quite self-conscious about my size (particularly my waist) and I know it's not ideal. I get hooked up on dieting very easily (I have a history of anorexia) and I don't want to go back down that route. Any suggestions on that as well?
Maybe my heights holding me back? Do you think I stand much chance of growing a cm or two even though I'm 15?

| as u say i m sure but if i can see u r pic then its more easy to tell u some thing about u. |

I dont like the new ps3 at all. its ugly and u cant play games from ps2.
I want one of the older models, one of the nicer looking consoles
the new look makes it looks like an amateur console.
I really take care of my stuff and will make sure to seriously take care of my sh!t I went to my friends house and his stupid guyren seriously violate the controls and everything, push in buttons hella hard n sh!t,
and their stupid ugly little wolfdog chews on the controls and all that pretty much defeats the purpose of having something nice and makes the game blow.
Thanks alot, your feedback will be put to good use! |
There are only three models (NTSC) that play PS2 games:
20GB PS3 with 99% backward compatibility but no built in Wi-Fi.
60GB PS3 with 99% backward compatibility (best PS3 ever made)
80GB Limited Edition (MotorStorm or MGS4) bundle with 80% backward compatibility
All three models have 4 USB ports, so if it doesn't have 4 USB ports, then it can not play PS2 games.
Amazon is the only place still selling new 80GB Limited Edition PS3s that play limited PS2 games ( www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B… ), but you are going to pay more for it than you would a non-backward compatible PS3 and a PS2.
Any other backward compatible PS3 will be used since Sony hasn't manufactured a backward compatible PS3 in a couple of years.
BTW, all three PS3 links you provided are to non-backward compatible PS3s. You will not find a backward compatible PS3 in a retail store since it hasn't been manufactured for a couple of years. You will only be able to buy a new one online (at the Amazon link I gave you above). |
