I am a 15 year old male. I have overly hairy legs and i want to get rid of them. Shaving would NOT be a good idea. You will have to do it everyday to prevent "stubble," and you will need to moisturize really well to prevent dry skin and itching.

Waxing is painful (only for a second), but it the cleanest way to "de-hair" yourself. Try this if you want a really smooth feel like a swimmer. Don't worry about what other people think-----if they ask tell them the truth. You feel cleaner without the extra hair.

Trimming the hair seems like the best idea to me. Use an electric trimmer (even a beard trimmer may work), and keep the hair trimmed neatly. Doing such a large area may be tedious, but if it makes you feel better about yourself----go for it!

And please do not bleach the hair on your legs.

Guys with hairy legs are normal. If your back is just as hairy........I recommend waxing that area.

I wouldn't, unless you are a competitive swimmer or cyclist: to me, it just looks odd and is hard to maintain.

But it's your body, your choice: try one of those clippers with various combs, try shortening it up a little before you take it all off-- it might take a while to grow back, and could look odd if you wanted to wear shorts.

I'll confess, I clip my belly hair: it's a lot thicker than on my chest, and by knocking it back to about half an inch long, it looks more balanced, and shows my abs better.
