| That is completely normal. It is called pubic hair. It is just a part of growing up. There are many different things you can do about it. Trimming is probably most common, also the easiest and least painful. Just get some scissors and either in the shower or sitting on the toilet (so you can rinse/flush the hair away) just trim it however you want. Shaving is another popular option. The problem with shaving is it can cause ingrown hairs and razor burn. Using a cream like bikinizone can cut down on this. Waxing is the most effective at removing all hair, but it is also painful. Personally, I wax the top part that gives the most trouble shaving, then shave the rest. I like being completely hairless because I find the hair itchy and uncomfortable. But a lot of people like to just trim because it is easy and requires the least upkeep. Whatever you like is fine. |

| Shaving would NOT be a good idea. You will have to do it everyday to prevent "stubble," and you will need to moisturize really well to prevent dry skin and itching. Waxing is painful (only for a second), but it the cleanest way to "de-hair" yourself. Try this if you want a really smooth feel like a swimmer. Don't worry about what other people think-----if they ask tell them the truth. You feel cleaner without the extra hair. Trimming the hair seems like the best idea to me. Use an electric trimmer (even a beard trimmer may work), and keep the hair trimmed neatly. Doing such a large area may be tedious, but if it makes you feel better about yourself----go for it! And please do not bleach the hair on your legs. Guys with hairy legs are normal. If your back is just as hairy........I recommend waxing that area. |
